Chad and JackieWe had on awesome weekend August 6-8. My brother Brian got home from his mission in Japan. His flight was 2 hours late, but it was worth the wait. He hasn't changed at all and is still the same old Brian. Later that day our niece Cassie got married to Jake. She looked beautiful. Afterwards we headed to Chad and Jackie's wedding dinner. It was such a fun dinner. We had a Roast-n-Toast to the Bride and Groom. It was all laughs all night.
The next day we went to the Salt Lake Temple where Chad and Jackie were married. It was such an awesome day for me because, it was the first time ever that my mom and all my siblings have been in the temple together. The reception that night was amazing. They had the best food ever, and great entertainment. Jackie's family sure does know how to throw a party. It was one of the best receptions I have ever been to.
On Sunday, Brian had his Homecoming talk and luncheon. He gave an amazing talk. We had so much family there. It was so good to visit with everyone. I just love my family so much and we always have tons of fun together. The weekend couldn't have been any better.
