Conference Weekend

We've had a fun Conference weekend. Matt and I went to the new City Creek Center in Salt Lake on Friday. met up with some friends from Matt's mission and went to the Jazz game. On Saturday we had a BBQ at my mom's house then the girls went shopping during Priesthood session. Tonight we are heading over to Matt's parents for an early Easter dinner since half the family will be out of town on Easter Sunday. Hope y'all have enjoyed your weekend!

The Pasko's from Matt's mission. They live in Salt Lake now. We haven't seen them for a few years, so it was fun to see them this weekend.

Jazz Game. I got Matt tickets for Christmas. He finally got to see Jimmer play!

Allie's hair is getting so long now. It's super curly, but when it's wet you can see how long it is.

Allie and Maxton

I just wanted to post these cute pics of Allie and Maxton. Max is my cousin Cristina's little guy. We were pregnant at the same time and due just a day apart from each other. Allie and Max are 2 weeks apart in age. They love playing together and are now at the age where they ask for each other. I love that Allie has some cousins and friends close by that we get to play with.

Valentines 2012

This year for Valentines Day I did the 14 Days of Valentines for Matt. I got the idea from Pinterest. It ended up being a lot of fun. I left a treat for him every day before he went to work. At first he wondered what was going on, but I think he ended up really liking the little notes everyday. Here are the pictures of each item.

Allie's First Surgery

Back in February, Allie had her first surgery. She was born with clogged tear ducts, so we went up to Primary Children's Hospital for her to get them fixed. I had this done when I was a baby also. She didn't know what was going on that day, and she had a hard time when we got up there. She was tired and hungry and didn't want the nurses to touch her. They gave her some drugs to relax her, which ended up being nice before she went in because she was calm, but the side affect was that she would be irritable when she woke back up. We were pretty entertained by her while she was on the relaxant. The surgery lasted about 20 minutes, when they woke her up she was flipping out. I could hear her crying even before I walked in the recovery room. Once they moved her to post-opp and took her IV out, she calmed down. She was so brave that day, and so were Matt and I! Her surgery went great and she hasn't had any more eye infections since. We are so glad we don't have to worry about it anymore.

Such a sweet little girl.

Allie on drugs!

Leaving the hospital.
