Kylee's Baptism
On April 7th we went to Oregon for my niece Kylee's Baptism. She is the oldest grandchild on my side of the family so it was really exciting to have the first kid baptized. We had a pretty busy weekend since we weren't able to be there very long. Saturday morning was the baptism. Kylee was baptized with 4 of her friends. Afterwards they had a luncheon with all of the families. When everything was over and cleaned up, we got a couple of babysitters for the kids and took Kylee up to Washington for the day and to hang out with the adults. It was Kylee's day, and she loved it! She got her ears pierced, a new outfit from grandma and dinner. We also went on a little tour of the city that my brother Michael served his mission in. We went to this little Mexican bakery that he ate at and got some yummy treats there. It was a lot of fun to see where he was for 2 years. We finished off the day with Hunger Games! The next day was Easter. Anna made us a yummy breakfast and some ham before we had to head home. We also had a little Easter egg hunt for the girls so that we didn't miss out on some Easter activities. Even though the trip was quick, it was well worth it to spend some time with my sister and her family.
